City Island benefits from an onsite team based in the Management Suite, situated on Gotts Road to the front of the undercroft car park entrance. Your onsite team is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

Jonathan’s role is to manage site compliance, all site projects, control of sub-contractors and oversee the work undertaken by onsite staff. He also manages all Health and Safety issues, PPMs and any reactive and emergency works.
He undertakes site audits and work investigations, management of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and building fabric, management of hard and soft service site Staff. Part of his role is to help and assist visitors, tenants and landlords as well as offering assistance with security matters.
Having spent his career in facilities and maintenance management, running his own property maintenance company, managing the team at the Yorkshire Showground and also being the manager for a Waste Management company, Jonathan now proudly leads the team as Development Manager at City Island.

Mark leads the maintenance projects at City Island, you will find him carrying out a plethora of fundamental tasks every day. In addition, Mark also ensures to keep the site clean and secure and is always available to residents and leaseholders who may have questions or queries.
Mark has spent many years working in the Facilities sector. Mark worked for 21 years maintaining and repairing properties across the Yorkshire region for social housing and for people requiring properties who find themselves in personal difficulty. Mark has also worked for 8 years assisting people with physical or mental learning difficulties teaching them practical skills such as joinery and gardening.
Mark has a number of practical and organisational skills with a real interest in painting and decorating. Mark is friendly and approachable and is always available to assist residents and leaseholders.

Nathan works closely with Mark on all our required maintenance tasks and projects. Having started working at City Island in 2022 Nathan has quickly learnt the demands of the site and is always happy to help residents and leaseholders with anything they may require.
Nathan is quite new to the Facilities sector but has a great general knowledge of what is required and the demands of the industry. Having worked in Facilities for the NHS he is hard working and is always keen to learn and improve his skills and abilities. With great communication and customer service skills you will often find Nathan on the piazza and surrounding areas always available to anyone who may need assistance.
